In The Beginning.....

On January 15th 2013, my son began his journey of a lifetime. A 2180 mile trek from Springer Mountain Georgia to Katahdin Mountain Maine. This blog is my way of honoring his trek and passing along his progress to the many people who have asked us to keep them current on his progress. When possible I will include pictures from his phone as he sends them to us.
